I have done a few things in my life. I grew up during the 1950s and 60s on a farming operation that grew peaches, nectarines, and grapes. We worked hard but we enjoyed a great life full of family and friends. High school was the social place for teenagers during the 60s…looking back it was one of the best times of my life.
I went to college during the turbulent 60s, graduating in 1970. Went into the Army Reserve for six years…during this time, I continued my education, started a career in the engineering field and got married.
Worked in civil engineering area for ten years, then moved on to farm and run an ag related business for about twenty-five years.
I have spent the last twenty-one years teaching school at juvenile hall…this has been a great time…still going, don’t want to stop. I am currently in my 22nd year and alass, I plan to retire in June of 2022.
My wife and I are going to move near our only daughter and her family…we want to be par of their lives, especially, being around our grandson who just started school this year.
